In my classes, the focus is inward – more on how it feels and less on how it looks. Here, you’ll learn safe approaches to exercise and movement, be encouraged to listen to your body to work with your capacity, and be offered modifications and progression options for moving at your comfort level and pace. A space without judgement, everyone is welcome. I’m honoured to be a part of your movement journey.

My movement journey began when my mom enrolled me at the wee age of three to study at Jean M. Wong School of Ballet in Hong Kong. Upon moving to Vancouver, BC (Canada), my dance training expanded to include tap, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Food Nutrition and Health, I have my Fitness Instructor Specialist certification from Canfitpro, hold certifications in TRX Suspension Training, Barre Fitness and Foam Rolling Myofascial Release. I am an active member of the National Coaching Certification Program and am also the Head Coach for the Special Olympics British Columbia Coquitlam Rhythmic Gymnastics program. I believe that movement should be refreshing and energizing, and exercise should be enjoyable. I am committed to furthering my knowledge and have completed continuing education courses in Active Aging, Stress Resiliency, Fit Pregnancy, and more.

In my spare time, I can be found cozying up with my bunny, Peach (fun activity for you: spot Peach in my Flex Room videos!), overwatering my indoor plants, snowshoeing or hiking, and relaxing in the tub (sometimes in that exact order).

The Digital Studio

Welcome to the Flex Room — by definition, a space that can be customized and used for numerous functions. The digital studio consists of three libraries full of small-space friendly and varied exercise, stretch and release videos that you can access at any time from anywhere. 

Whether you are new to exercise or a fitness enthusiast, the Flex Room helps regular people feel connected to their minds and bodies through thoughtfully guided on-demand fitness and movement videos. Classes are of varying lengths and focuses, but all emphasizes technique, form and breath, so you can feel safe, strong, and confident while moving from the comfort of your own homes.
