the Roomie Hangout

Sunday February 12, 2023
1:30-3:30 pm

Place des Arts, Coquitlam

come workout

Start your afternoon off with my signature MOVE + STRETCH class!  The perfect way to get out of your head, connect with your body, and feel energized as you move together in the same physical space. Inspired by pilates, barre and yoga, this beat-based class is an energizing series of low-intensity muscular strength and endurance exercises that flows from one move to the next. This February, the class is sponsored by Supported Soul and will feature a resistance band workout. The bands are then yours to keep after the class! BYO mat.

then hangout

the Flex Room is more than just a fitness platform – these hangouts serve to connect you with each other so we can build our community IRL through experiences that cultivate community and connection.  After the workout, enjoy refreshing beverages from Say When Chai, settle in, and get creative. Vancouver-based metalsmith, Fiona, will lead us in a wire wrapping workshop where we’ll make a heart wire ring. Perfect as a little self-love treat for yourself or to give to someone you care about just in time for Valentine’s Day! All supplies included.

that's not all:

Bring home a thoughtfully curated care package* with goods valued at over $125 from amazing local brands I love that I know you’ll love too!

Place des Arts

Home for the arts and literally my second home (my other job!), Place des Arts is a not-for-profit arts education centre offering quality classes for all ages and skill levels in visual, literary and performing arts. Check them out the next time you want to get creative!

Supported Soul

I can't express my love for this brand in words. Based in Port Moody, they truly are supportive of their community in every way, and their products are co-friendly, made with materials that are non-toxic, sustainable and ethically sourced.

Say When Beverages

Local and sustainable, Say When Beverages will be on-site with delicious samples. Their chai blend is kettle-brewed with whole spices like cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric and ginger, organic teas, natural sweeteners, and purified British Columbia mountain water.

Body Energy Club

Their smoothies and juices are *chefs kiss* and they're one of my favourite places to stop at if I need an on-the-go smoothie or meal, or a restock of my favourite supplements and vitamins.

Herbaland

Their natural health products are functional, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. Their gummies are vegan, low-sugar, sugar-free, dairy-free, soy-free, palm oil derivative-free, allergen-free, and nut-free - the list goes on! Honestly, they had me at 'healthy candy'.

Vitae Apparel

I live in their clothes... designed in Vancouver and Chinese-Canadian owned, they aim to redefine social and physical standards for women and empower wearers to feel more confident.

twentieth + wren

THE cutest custom handmade signs and decor - whether you are looking for a sign, plaque, or branded swag... she does it all!!

yes, honey.

Local and clean, their products are based around naturally-sourced materials intentionally chosen for their beneficial compounds, and then formulated into amazing skincare.
